@bmnabc I used elastic too. The trick is to sew the beginning few stitches then get the end of the elastic pinned to the end of the fabric with a safety pin. All you have to do when sewing then is stretch the elastic. But remember to set upper thread tension at 5 and stitch length at 5. Sew so that you are sewing down the middle of the elastic and it should be fine.
Shysasha, it won’t fray with the fabric she used. When you cut, make sure you aren’t snagging when you go to open the scissors to cut past the area you just cut. Also, I found that measuring work for me and I folded the fabric at the bottom so I would find it easier to cut straight
Can u tell me how to cut really good? Everytime I cut it is a big mess
Also I love this dress so much. I can now get clothes without having to nag my parents to take me shopping. I’m understanding construction better. I think after your videos I can sew my own designs too. I’d like to exchange emails with you so I can keep in contact

@DanceADream7 thank you! I usually get the fabric from thrift stores or big clothes on sale. Other times I get the fabric from local fabric stores in Norway. one of them is called “stoff og stil” it means fabric and style
