My friend Alan as well as his classmates presented their final projects in a present at the New York Fashion Academy in Seattle (not New York). This is one of Alan’s creations, modeled by his wife, Cybele .
Photographing runway models is hard! Even if you shoot them when they stop to "strike a pose," a hand may be blurry, or the lighting may be bad, or you may get the back of somebody’s head in the shot, depending on where you are shooting from. In addition to getting nice shots of the models, you of course would like to to create the clothes appear to be nice, too. Out of from 200 photos I need, only a handful are decent.
Fortunately, it is a hobby, as well as no one was paying me to take photos at this althought. But it was lots of fun.
Also fortunately, I got a couple nice shots of the gorgeous Cybele.

"Fashion’s Big Night Out" was one of the althoughts of New York Fashion Week 2010. Huge crowds were drawn to the a lot of designer clothes stores open till late in the althoughing, goes along with celebrity appearances as well as some some other happenings…
